"I’ve started this website to chronicle my journey from smoking to non-smoking, and anything else that comes to mind. I’ve been a smoker for some 35 plus years now and I’ve decided that it’s time to quit. Well, I really didn’t decide all by myself. My doctor strongly suggested that it was something I should do. It had something to do with living past the provincial age average. Not much of a choice! So the non-smoking begins on July 1, 2010."

Right away I heard from John who placed a link on the site for Freedom Village the following day. This is a non-profit website that exists by donations.
