"I’ve started this website to chronicle my journey from smoking to non-smoking, and anything else that comes to mind. I’ve been a smoker for some 35 plus years now and I’ve decided that it’s time to quit. Well, I really didn’t decide all by myself. My doctor strongly suggested that it was something I should do. It had something to do with living past the provincial age average. Not much of a choice! So the non-smoking begins on July 1, 2010."

This was Bubba's very first quit smoking experience. He kept a written journal which he later transcribed for the internet to try and help others from his experiece.

Bob's Place has the best links to quit smoking on the internet. One of my favorite stories/analogies is called, "The Small Dark Room" which I read over and over again while I was in the process of quitting. Checking it out and I think you'll see why I liked it.

This site has been on the web since 1996. I discovered Quit Smoking Online accidentally while on Zeal, which I am a proud member of. Looksmart's Zeal chooses their sites carefully and I knew QSO would be special and I wasn't disappointed! I wrote to them requesting an exchange of links. I met Tommy for the first time on MySpace and then I saw his "Truth" commercial and right away he became my number one MySpace friend. Incredible man who I respect greatly for his efforts to help save lives from tobacco.

Aaron is a musician but he is also a man who has lived through the tragedy of his mother's death from tobacco abuse. The video of his mother has changed the lives of many and as for Aaron....I'm speechless when I think how he must feel when he sees this video to see his mother die over and over again but yet....he and his mother wanted this video so others would not have to know their tragedies.
